情迷旧金山（3）墨尔红木公园

大树哥哥的名字来源于他对巨人数的喜爱。加上他高大挺拔的身躯，和倔强朴实的性格，这个名字非他莫属。早在2008年冬天，大树就邀请我去加州著名的红木林观赏千年古树，由于那时我身在国内未能赴约。这次我没有再次错过类似的机会。

墨尔红木公园没有红杉树国家公园那么规模宏大，但也滋养着纷繁茂密珍贵古老的参天红杉树，并且位处旧金山附近，省去了长途驾车的疲劳。据说那些红杉树400年才能成才，我们看到的平均年龄高达2000年。难怪中国古书里总有对树精的描述，经年累月看日月变迁，吸收天地之精华，植根大地以不变应万变，他们若没有灵魂，不得成仙，谁能？
